It is an honor to become part of the esteemed educational Institutes established by the Pravara Rural Education Society (PRES) , Pravaranagar, in 18th August 1998 through the visionary efforts of Dr. Padmashri Vithalrao Vikhe Patil and Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, a distinguished recipient of the Padma Bhushan Award. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the authorities of Pravara Rural Education Society (PRES), Pravaranagar for developing excellent educational Institutes like Arts Commerce & Science College, Satral.

The institution has taken initiatives restructuring components adhere to the guidelines of NEP 2020 i.e. learning, teaching, research and extension to make it more relevant and useful to the society. The institute has an excellent internet facility (broad band) utilized by the students and staff. The institution has begun a Virtual Learning Cantre (VLC) along with an e-content development unit to access the knowledge.

After I joined this college, I found Rural students often face unique challenges when pursuing higher education compared to their urban counterparts. Some of these challenges include limited access to educational resources, financial issues, transport facilities due to different geographical regions, limited educational institutes, etc. In response to the challenges faced by rural students in higher education, our teachers have accepted the challenge and are working towards providing quality education through various initiatives and strategies.

The teacher addresses these issues through the mentor-mentee program, personalized counseling, technology integration, community partnership through collaboration, student support services like the earn-and-learn scheme, various scholarships, Book Bank Scheme, etc. Overall, teachers are playing a crucial role in ensuring that rural students have access to quality education and opportunities for success in higher education. When it comes to executing educational policy, the college has always been at the forefront. During the COVID outbreak, it effectively transitioned to online teaching while running a sizable number of online programs.

To promote the “National Education Policy 2020”, the college devoted to the proper implementation of the policy by organizing several seminars, workshops, and webinars. The learning opportunities on campus provide a good foundation for improving students' overall development. The College follows guidelines given by the State Govt and University for the implementation of NEP 2020.

I firmly believe that the teachers serve as the pillars of any institution and the students as its roof, thereby, making the institution a knowledge home. I am dedicated to making this College a joyous and dynamic place where students, teachers, and members can come together as a whole family.
